Senate and Student Activity Unit of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri Participate in Basic Organizational Training

Dozens of students who are members of the University Student Senate and Student Activity Unit (UKM) Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) took part in Basic Organizational Training (LDO) initiated by the Student Affairs Bureau of Universitas IGM, Thursday (31/3/2022) on the III Floor Hall, Sudirman Campus, Palembang.
In the training, students get presentations from speakers who are competent in their fields. Starting from Leadership Training (Dr Fauzia Afriyani, M.Si), Student Performance Improvement Materials (Try Wulandari, SE, M.Fin) Organizational Governance Materials (Abdul Kholik, S.Si, M.Cs), and Articles of Association Materials (Fajriansyah, S.Si).

The Head of the Student Affairs Bureau at Universitas IGM, Dr Fauzia Afriyani, M.Si, said that this basic organizational training is an annual agenda held by the Universitas IGM Student, Alumni, and Job Affairs Bureau.
We want to provide the chair and the board of student organizations (ormawa) with how to manage an organization. We provide related materials so our students, can be successful in organizing," said Fauzia during the event.

He considered that students should not only study in class but also get knowledge and experience outside the class. Keep going and go as far as you can. The organization builds students' character to become a better person, she said.

Fauzia added that Universitas IGM students interest to join the organization is still very high. Even though there was a time when the pandemic prevented individuals from meeting and gathering, IGM students were very responsive to technological developments.
