Implementing the Three Pillars of Higher Education, Indo Global Mandiri - Indonesian Muslimat Movement Has Held a Blood Donor Social Events

The Indo Global Mandiri Foundation (IGM) and the Indonesian Muslimat Movement (GMI) keep synergizing to warn the people of South Sumatra.
Some humanitarian activities were carried out. One of them is blood donor social events involving employees and students of Universitas IGM located on the Third Floor of Sudirman Campus, Monday (30/5/2022).
The student and employee participation is quite high. There were 26 bags of blood collected by the Indonesian Red Cross Society (PMI) South Sumatra from the donors.

The General Secretary (Sekum) of Central GMI, Ir.Hj.Neny Rostiati, M.S emphasized that GMI has regularly carried out activities in the sectors of education and health since 2003.
We also carry out several activities such as Mass Circumcision, Immunization, and even data collection for school children with the Population and Civil Registration Agency (Disdukcapil). We want to keep working in the humanitarian sector, she said on the sidelines of blood donation activities.
Through GMI's humanitarian activities, she hopes that empathy for other human beings will be well maintained. Moreover, lately lot of people have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and at least GMI and IGM can help each other. IGM became an educational institution by making Social Services as community service, she said.
Meanwhile, one of the employees of Universitas IGM, Fajriansyah, appreciates this activity. He is one of the regular donors for PMI. One drop of blood can help humans, he concludes.(andhiko tungga alam/dzulfiqor ammar)
